Lord Jesus Christ
Christ is shown with the traditional blessing hand raised. The wounded hands keep the focus on mercy rather than distance. The red and blue garments are a traditional way of pointing to Christ’s mystery: fully God and fully human. This icon is made for daily prayer in the middle of ordinary life.
